A day in Waterton
Leaving Calgary at 5am we headed south on Cowboy Trail for Waterton Lakes Nation Park. As we approached the park entrance we could see we were in for a smoke filled day. Our first stop was Bear's Hump trail, a short climb to get the classic view of the Waterton valley. After a short break up there we grabbed some water at the local fire station and headed for Bertha Lake trail. What an amazing climb that was! It was tough but filled with a amazing views, a great waterfall and the end was well worth the effort.
