Morocca via Amsterdam

A trip filled with a few beautiful old cities, some amazing food and a couple painfully awkward layovers. Visiting the old cities of Amsterdam, Marrakech and Fez I had the opportunity to experience the charm of their winding streets and historical character.

Amsterdam

Who doesn't love a good long layover? Decided to put mine to good use and jumped on the train headed for Centraal station. Spent the morning wandering around the quiet wet streets of the old city, grabbed myself some lunch and then back on the train I went to the airport.

Morocco

We spent our first few days in Marrakech falling in love with our riad in the heart of the old city, exploring the labyrinth of souks and eating meal after meal of delicious local food. We later hopped on the train and headed for Fez.
